At AMBITION Sports Coaching Ltd, the safety and wellbeing of every child and young person we work with is our absolute and unwavering priority. Everything we do is underpinned by a strong commitment to safeguarding.
Our safeguarding commitments
Child-first approach
The welfare of every child and young person we work with comes before everything else. All decisions we make, and all of our practices, are guided by this principle.
Safe recruitment
We follow rigorous safer recruitment procedures for all staff and volunteers. This includes Enhanced DBS checks, reference checks, and thorough interviews before anyone is allowed to work with children.
Clear reporting procedures
We have clear and well-understood procedures in place for reporting any safeguarding concerns. All staff know who to speak to, how to raise a concern, and what happens next.
Working in partnership
We work closely with schools, families, local authorities, and other agencies to ensure that information is shared appropriately and that children receive joined-up support.
Ongoing training
Safeguarding training is not a one-off event. We ensure all staff undertake regular refresher training to stay up to date with the latest guidance, legislation, and best practice.
Risk assessments
All activities and environments are subject to thorough risk assessments before any session takes place. The safety of children and staff is always considered first.
Accreditations and qualifications
Our credentials give schools, families, and local authorities the independent reassurance they need when choosing a provider to work with children and young people.
Reporting a concern
If you have a safeguarding concern about a child or young person, it is important that you report it straight away. Do not wait.
